Theresa Webb has over 25 years of experience in procurement in both the private and public sectors with 15 years in public sector procurement. Theresa is the Procurement Official for Manatee County government and oversees the procurement of goods, services, technology, construction and capital improvement projects. She has a Bachelors' in Business Administration and a Masters' degree in Business Management. Theresa is the 2019-2020 President for the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials (FAPPO), having served on the Board for the past three years. Theresa holds CPPO, CPPB, CPSM and C.P.M. certifications and is a current member of FAPPO, NIGP, Sarasota Bay Area Chapter of NIGP, Tampa Bay Area Chapter of NIGP, NPI, ISM and the Gulf Coast Chapter of ISM. She is a member of the NIGP Global Best Practice Task Force for Market Research and Analysis and has recently served on the NIGP Talent Council and as the Talent Council Liaison to the Pipeline and Placement Committee. She has also served on the NIGP Member Council, the NIGP Global Best Practice Task Force for Specifications, the LINCS Advisory Board for St. Pete College, the Airport Purchasing Group Board, and the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of NIGP Board for five years (including President in 2014). Additionally, she has served as a member of the ISM Report on Business survey panel. Theresa was recognized by NIGP in 2013 as National Buyer of the Year. Theresa has taught 50+ workshops, webinars and training seminars for procurement professionals as well as over 100 training classes for staff, internal customers and the supplier community over her career.
