    Overview

    eProcurement and contract management will look very different if and when cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, and smart contract implementation with Blockchain become the norm. In this presentation we explain the concept of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, and smart contract implementation with Blockchain. We also provide the participants a glimpse of how the future eProcurement, Best Value Sourcing, and Contract Management will look like with cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, and smart contract implementation with Blockchain. We provide real world examples and demonstrations to make the concepts clear and transparent to the audience. We also discuss the advantages and dangers of these technologies in the realm of supply chain, eProcurement, best value sourcing, and contract management. We finally demonstrate a prototype end-to-end procurement and contract management system using block chain and cryptocurrency (bitcoin) technologies.

    1.  Understand the concepts of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
    2. Understand the concept of future eProcurement, Best Value Sourcing, and Contract Management with smart contracts implemented using Blockchain Technology.
     

    Presenter Bios

    Sam Adhikari received advanced graduate degrees from Stanford University, Temple University, and City University of NY. He performs data analytics related research at Stanford University. He leads the Sysoft eRFP implementation team involved in the development and support of Best Value Sourcing, Contract Management, and Vendor Performance Monitoring software tools. Sam specializes in Supply Chain Management with Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence technologies to reduce time to track products from days to minutes, best value sourcing, performance based service agreements, contract management based on smart contracts, and vendor performance monitoring. He has 30+ years of experience in supply chain management, analytics, and sourcing. Sam is a certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) involved in helping procurement agencies secure data, systems, and knowledgebases.

    There is a Group Sign-In Form provided with each webinar. The group sign-in form does not register anyone for the webinar, it just verifies live attendance. Each person will receive their login email on the day of the webinar – this verifies their registration. The group sign in form verifies that they watched the live webinar.
