*Findings are based on anonymized first-party data from the Bonfire platform, drawing on a sample size of 6,600 RFP projects conducted at 190 organizations in North America between 2015 and 2017.
After completing this online training session, learners will be able to:
1.Participants will uncover whether they are running their RFPs in the most effective way possible and whether they are getting the most value possible from the process.
2.Participants will gain a better understanding of what they should look to include in an RFP process, based on how other organizations are structuring theirs and the results they are seeing.
3.Participants will be able to compare their purchasing performance with study benchmarks and consider possible metrics to track to measure their own impact.
4.Participants will learn about how the RFP is changing and the implications for them as procurement professionals.
As the Executive Director of Customer Success at Bonfire, Omar Salaymeh focuses on ensuring success for all Bonfire clients including on-boarding, training, and continued product adoption. He is passionate about enabling procurement professionals to be more effective and successful in their roles. He has led hundreds of organizations in implementing Bonfire and is a frequent speaker at conferences and user groups.
Lindsay Kroes is Content Specialist at Bonfire, where she helps modern sourcing teams navigate the procurement technology landscape through relevant best practices, data insights, and other resources.
Stephen Whittaker is a management consultant currently working with BDO Canada's Advisory Services practice focusing on Procurement Transformation, P2P/S2P (eProcurement) system evaluation, selection and project management in addition to leading and/or collaborating on client strategic procurement initiatives. Prior to joining BDO Stephen spent over 10-years as Director of Procurement Services with the University of Toronto. While at UofT Stephen co-founded the Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM). Stephen is the recipient of multiple awards for procurement innovation and productivity improvement.
