    Share the experiences of the State of Washington from inception to launch and ongoing implementation of the Amazon Business program. Discuss what worked well and what challenges we had. Answer questions from the audience to ensure the richest possible learning experience.


    After completing this online training session, learners will be able to:
    1. Understand how to determine the critical data elements, policy and cultural considerations necessary to establish Amazon Business in their environment.
    2. Have tangible tools to determine if Amazon Business is appropriate in their environment, and if so begin using it.

    Presenter Bios

    Howard Cox works for the Department of Enterprise Services with the State of Washington. He has a background in many aspects of public service, but for the past several years has focused on implementing key projects and process improvements.

    Ms. Gegich leads Strategic Initiatives for Public Sector-Government customers of Amazon Business with a focus on State and Federal Government. She has over 20 years’ experience working with governments of all sizes and leverages her experience to develop and oversee strategic projects for Amazon Business’ Government Vertical. Her projects include work with the State of Washington, the Social Security Administration, and the US Department of Homeland Security.

    Mr. Blackmarr is a Senior Professional Services Manager, working with strategic Amazon Business State and Federal Government customers, developing solutions for indirect spend management. He has direct experience in Federal and State government both as a Military Officer (retired) and Procurements Manager, as well as in technical project management. His current projects include the State of Washington and major Federal government agencies.

    Attendance for Individuals

    In order to receive one contact hour, each member needs to register for the webinar individually in advance and then watch the live webinar. Your credit is tabulated by match between your login and your registration.

    Attendance for Groups

    There is a Group Sign-In Form provided with each webinar. The group sign-in form does not register anyone for the webinar, it just verifies live attendance. Each person will receive their login email on the day of the webinar – this verifies their registration. The group sign in form verifies that they watched the live webinar.

You won't receive credit, but you will still receive all the handouts and the recording link.
